In a constant quest to make the whole creative process easier and more user-friendly, the new WordPress 5.0.3 introduces the new, amazing WordPress Gutenberg Editor.
Basically, the Gutenberg Editor facilitates the content creation. The user can choose among different “Blocks” to make their final product more interesting and dynamic.
Integrating page builder like functions, the WordPress Gutenberg editor can take a while to get your way around it but is definitely worth the time!
Each bit of content in Gutenberg is its own block whether it is a paragraph, an image, a quote, a pricing table and so on.
This aspect motivated third-party developers to add their own blocks according to their needs.
In the post below, we have gathered some of the most interesting Gutenberg Blocks Plugins that can really help you take your website to the next level.

Ghost Kit is a blocks collection that provides the Gutenberg block editor with extended functionality. A Responsive grid block, Accordion, Video, Pricing tables, a Progress bar are just some of the many instruments ready to help you put your work in the best light
I have used Ghost Kit for the buttons with DOWNLOAD and to display the demo images in the slides for each plugin. The first paragraph was challenging but as I got the hang of it I really like it and find it easy to use and quite handy. I am excited to test other functions!
This plugin is more of a visual style editor: it allows the user to work on the website designs in real-time, right in the browser, no coding knowledge required. Using Stylist one can opt for a preferred font, adjust the background, padding, margins or corner radius for any default or custom Gutenberg block.
This intuitive plugin offers that little extra that goes a long way when you want to make your website more complex and optimize the posts for e-commerce, business, social media, blogs, etc.
A special feature for the Otter Plugin comes in the form of a beautiful library of pre-built Gutenberg-compatible templates that you can simply import via one click. It is a time-saver and a life saver for those new to WordPress.
With visual content being more and more popular, there is a certain preference to make sure you advertise your work as much as you can. If what you look for is an unrivaled drag and drop gallery building experience in Gutenberg, look no further: Block Gallery is brilliant!
In conclusion, if you are looking for an easy to use, time-saving, responsive photo gallery block, give this one a try!
It has never been easier to “glam up” your websites than it is now, with the help of different blocks for the Gutenberg plugin. One that really stands out is Caxton.
Tackle the challenges like a ninja with dynamic and interactive solutions provided by the Ninja Gutenberg Blocks.
Stackable is a generous collection of ready-to-use blocks for Gutenberg, ready to make building awesome front pages and landing pages a breeze.
All in all, the Gutenberg plugin is a great add-on for the WordPress users providing a complex editing experience and facilitating media-rich pages and posts.
In this post, I have used the plugin for the 1st time and also plugins that provide extra blocks like Ghost Kit, Ninja Blocks and Block Gallery. I must admit I am pretty excited to also try Caxton and Stackable.
From the perspective of a user with zero coding or website designer experience the initiative is fantastic. The plugins are really easy to use and customize and I appreciate the chance to create more sophisticated layouts. I love my websites to be aesthetically pleasing- it adds power to even the best content!
It took me a good few minutes to get the hang of creating sliders, customizing columns, designing the author section (like a Ninja 😂) and so on. But if you do this on a constant basis I am sure it would work seamlessly.
Of course there are reverse opinions, from professionals, that see Gutenberg as an unnecessary, frustrating development. I am sure that also people reluctant to changes will take a while to get used to it.
My only concerns come from the following aspects:
From my point of view, since I really am a fan of the Gutenberg plugin and some of the extra blocks, I will continue testing the waters. I intend to keep it simple and only add maximum 3 extra plugin blocks(already installed 4 so👀👀) and work with that. As technology evolves, I am looking forward to see where it takes us!
I would appreciate any thoughts on the matter! How do you feel about the topic? Which are your concerns? Have you tried any of the plugins?
